Over the past ten years, Shaner has been hosting its annual charity golf tournament giving back to the communities in which we do business. We are passionately committed to community service and encourage our employees and associates to embrace this commitment as well. In the last two years, Shaner has focused on giving back to our local community, selecting a new recipient of the golf tournament each year. Shaner and Metzger Animal Hospital will be hosting the 2010 Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Penn State Blue and White Golf Courses in State College, PA. Shaner has named the Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund (BPCAF) and Centre County PAWS as the beneficiary of its tenth annual golf tournament. Please come out and join us for a day of golf while supporting BPCAF and PAWS. A pre-tournament social Thursday evening, August 12th donated by Prospector's Allegheny Rib Company and Friday meals provided by Clem's BBQ and Outback Steakhouse are also scheduled.
