Shaner Hotel Management Divisions

Here at Shaner Hotels, we are entering an exciting new chapter in the company's history. The current focus of our company is two-pronged. In addition to maintaining the profitable operations of properties currently in our portfolio, we are developing new hospitality-based opportunities with investment partners. These endeavors include new-build developments with top-tier branding in the select-service sector and relationships with colleges and universities for on-or-near-campus hospitality properties.

The capabilities of our experienced in-house staff help to support and complement these efforts. The expertise of our management team includes all the disciplines necessary to build, own, operate and manage all facets of hotel investments. Our company's ongoing commitment to developing both our personnel and infrastructure provide stability for our current properties and promise for expanding development opportunities with our investment partners..

Shaner Italia

Shaner Italia is growing with a property portfolio centralized in the Tuscany region of Italy. Currently, we manage one property—the Renaissance® Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa.  Another property, the Grand Universe Hotel in Lucca, Italy is currently under developemnt with plans to open in early 2019.  Most recently, Shaner Italia announced its partnership with CS Hospitality through which plans to develop properties in Greece and Cyprus are under way.  To learn more about CS Hospitality, please visit

Shaner Bahamas

Continuing the expansion of our international brand, we developed Shaner Bahamas and acquired the French Leave Resort on the small Bahamian island of Eleuthera. This beautiful resort—which was recently awarded a Marriott Autograph Collection license—is surrounded by colorful coral reefs, turquoise waters, pink sand beaches and swaying coconut palm trees. It is truly a one-of-a-kind paradise in a quiet, almost untouched location that is referred to as the “best secret island on earth” by Travel + Leisure.

In 2013, we took another step in developing the paradise of Eleuthera by building the French Leave Resort. Completed in 2014, the resort consists of one- and two-bedroom authentic Bahamian hotel cottages and bungalows with resort amenities—all overlooking historic Governor’s Harbour and Cupid’s Cay.
