We are excited to announce the official opening of the Now Open! Compass by Margaritaville Beaufort on February 26, 2026!
We planned for a small ribbon cutting to recognize the 15 years it took the owners to move this project from a dream to a beautiful property. Our small celebration for ~40 people grew to over 500 people, with a bus load of “Parrot Heads” and the locals rolling in.
The 105-room coastal retreat expands our presence in a vibrant waterfront destination and brings the Margaritaville lifestyle experience to the Beaufort market. The property features the signature 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar & Grill and is uniquely positioned with direct access to the Beaufort Yacht Basin Marina, creating a seamless land-and-sea guest experience.
This opening represents the successful collaboration of our development, operations, F&B, sales, marketing, revenue management, and pre-opening teams. From concept through launch, your dedication and cross-functional partnership have been instrumental in bringing this project to life.
